About Schüssler Spedition:

Wilhelm Schüssler Spedition GmbH is a medium-sized, family-run logistics company who recently became part of NewCold . We specialize in multi-temperature transport and warehousing services for the food industry, the fast-food sector, and the pharmaceutical industry.

Our workplaces in national long-distance transport and regional distribution traffic are characterized by the following features:

Long-distance transport (national):

• Groupage, partial and full truckload traffic with one or two loading points and up to five unloading points, loading/unloading via ramp, palletized freight; recurring loading points and recipients
• 33pp refrigerated semi-trailers, some with double-deck and/or multi-temperature equipment and some with drive-under tail lifts; Spedion telematics
• Continuous absence during the week; regular weekly rest periods at the Heppenheim site/at home
• Full-time or part-time, e.g., 6/3 schedule

Regional transport (quick-service restaurant chains):

• Distribution traffic according to a fixed schedule of routes, approx. six to twelve stops, ground-level delivery; goods on pallets or rolling carts; fixed circle of recipients (especially fast-food restaurants)
• 24pp to 31pp two- to three compartment semi-trailers, with tail lifts and electric pallet trucks; tablets with PIMM Route Mgmt
• Regular or shortened daily rest periods and weekly rest periods at the Heppenheim site/at home; sometimes alternating early/late shifts weekly
• Full-time or part-time, e.g., 6/3 schedule
